The network’s objectives are pursued through a wide range of specialized and free services. The Enterprise Europe Network partners play the role of single point to which requests for specialized assistance, in particular:

    • Promote the participation of Small and Medium Enterprises of the ‘European Union initiatives through:
  • Information services on EU issues and opportunities of the single European market;
  • Consulting services for the presentation and management of European projects;
  • Tiling services to businesses in order to encourage participation in the consultations initiated by the EU;
    • Help companies to improve their competitiveness and to face an international dimension through:
  • Customer services of standards and EU legislation and intellectual property;
  • Services of Support to Small and Medium Enterprises for the development of new products or processes and the implementation and improvement of internationalization strategies;
  • Support services for participation in B2B events and missions and to identify partners;
    • They support innovation and technology transfer processes through:
  • Audit Services and Technology Assessment;
  • Promotion of services and Exploitation of research results;
  • Intermediary services for participating in brokerage events and company mission and concluding technology transfer agreements; partner search services;
  • Service KAM (Key Account Management) dedicated to the winners of the SME H2020 tender – SME Instrument; Key Account Manager, an expert of the EEN network assists companies in selecting and coaching of a COACH that will guide the development of the instrument EMS project, integrated in the business development plan, in order to increase their chances of success of the company;
  • Service to improve innovation management skills. The target is the small and medium-sized innovative companies that offer free services accompanying the improvement and enhancement of their innovation management capabilities. SMEs selected, specialist advice is provided for identifying the innovation needs and for the planning of actions to be taken in order to improve the ability of innovation management and thereby improve the competitiveness of the market. The initiative allows, through the use of innovative assessment tools, to get a picture of their own ability to manage innovation and its processes and, with the help of a consultant EEN, to prepare specific actions for their improvement: the strategic aspects of the internal culture, employee engagement by the incentives used, the success rate of new products and services to the management of ideas and the tools to finance them. The service also allows the company to compete – anonymously – with other innovative companies in its sector. More than 5000 companies in Europe have successfully used this service, as a means to improve their competitiveness on the market.
